In 2010 Epic Dance Weekend held its first exclusive convention weekend. The mission of the program is to inspire, excite and encourage every dancer to reach their full potential! We provide an opportunity for dancers to work with Industry professionals that are incredible teachers, while challenging the most advanced dancer, exciting the youngest little ones and encouraging your new students to love dance! Epic Dance Weekend is scheduled to host 5 exclusive weekends in 2019 and are proud of the 35+ studios that have joined the Epic family..

Ciara began her dance training at an early age and has had the opportunity to teach and coach for the past 24 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Dance and Health Education. She was a member of the BYU Cheer Squad and had several National Television appearances.
Ciara taught at Pleasant Grove High School for 6 years directing both the Vikettes Drill Team and Orchesis Dance Company. She won several Region and National Drill Team titles while at PGHS. She also taught at Park City High School for 10 years both developing and directing their dance program.
She has had the opportunity to choreograph Bowl Games, music videos and live sporting events in the U.S. and internationally.
Ciara is the co-owner of Wasatch Dance Center and WDC Preschool, where she has developed an entire jazz curriculum for dancers ages 5-18. Her curriculum is taught in several studios throughout the Western U.S.
Ciara is grateful for the opportunity to inspire both dancers, directors and share her love of dance.
Brenda has been coaching and teaching in the dance community for 30 years. She coached the Hillcrest High School drill team in Midvale Utah for 28 years winning several invitational, regional, state and national titles. She has choreographed for numerous dance teams and studio companies as well and judged for many events.
Her choreography resume includes, High School Musical 3, 2002 Winter Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Paris New Year’s Day Parade, Alamo Bowl and Gator Bowl halftime shows, L.A. Dance Magic Best of Show awards, New York City Dance Alliance Critics Choice awards, as well as countless Region, State and National championship routines for high school dance & drill teams.
Her personal accolades include former NBA Utah Jazz Dancer, NBA All Star Weekend Performer and featured dancer with KISS. Brenda was the 2002 & 2018 Utah Drill Team Coach of the Year and was also awarded the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Section 7 Spirit Coach of the Year.
Nikki has been part of the dance community for over 20 years. She coached Lone Peak High School Drill Team for 7 years and was part of several Region Championships, a 4A State Championship, National Championships, and was named Utah 4A coach of the year.
She has over 15 years of judging experience in competitions, auditions and pageants. She enjoys working with many dance/drill teams and studios throughout several states. She is passionate about choreographing, critiquing, and motivating teams. She is the Co-Owner of the Miss Drill Utah Pageant and the Utah Solo Championship.
Nikki and her husband are the parents of 7 wonderful children, and many dancers she considers her own. In her spare time she likes to plant flowers, attend U2 concerts, hike, play at Bear Lake, golf and travel.
I love taking my dancers to Epic Dance Weekend because of the amazing atmosphere! My students love that everyone is there to learn and grow, I personally love Epic because of the family atmosphere.
